About the event

Experience the Flavors of Trinbago!

Join Caribbean Queen Kamla for this class where you will learn about the influence of East Indian cuisine to the islands of Trinidad & Tobago. This cuisine is a staple in homes and restaurants, infused with island spices such as Chadon Beni (Culantro), Variations of Curry Powder, Turmeric powder, and Pimento pepper giving a unique taste and flavor to all dishes. Come and enjoy a hands-on

experience preparing curried shrimp with potatoes… simple and delicious.

Kamla Jaggernauth, a recently semi-retired administrative assistant, enjoyed baking from a young age. Later, she started cooking her favorite Trinidadian dishes for her family and friends. Now you can experience the flavors of Trinbago!
